Urea is an inexpensive form of nitrogen fertilizer with an NPK (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) ratio of 46-0-0. It is the most important nitrogenous fertilizer with the highest nitrogen content (about 46%). It provides the plants with nitrogen to promote green leafy growth and aids the photosynthesis process of plants. As it provides only nitrogen and not phosphorus and potassium, its primarily used for bloom growth.
